据美国中文网报道，数百名乘客已从停靠在美国奥克兰港的“至尊公主号”邮轮上下船。当地时间11日，第二批下船乘客乘飞机抵达位于南加州圣地亚哥的米拉马海军陆战队航空站，并将进行14天隔离。
据报道，第一批乘客已于10日抵达军事基地，米拉马海军陆战队航空站是美国国防部在全国范围内选定的四个隔离地点之一。

“至尊公主号”邮轮载有来自54个国家的3500多人，至少有21名人的新型冠状病毒测试呈阳性，其中包括19名工作人员。下船时任何出现新冠肺炎症状的乘客都将留在奥克兰接受治疗。
据悉，船上的962名加利福尼亚居民将在米拉马海军陆战队航空站或者位于北加州的曲维斯空军基地完成隔离。米拉马海军陆战队航空站可以接收多达400名撤离人员。
在圣地亚哥郡卫生官员确认将在军事设施中安置多少人之前，首先需要由当地机构和疾病控制与预防中心(CDC)对乘客进行检查。
在隔离期间如新型冠状病毒测试呈阳性的乘客将被从基地转移，其中需要住院治疗的人会被送往医院隔离。
