特朗普白宫在总统土耳其秘密换乘专机事件上公然撒谎 周二晚间，特朗普证实了《华盛顿邮报》、CNN 等媒体此前的报道：上月因遭遇安全威胁，他在土耳其暗中更换了专机。
面对记者，特朗普表示：“我听说当时确实存在安全威胁，但我没有细问详情。”
他还谈及特勤局与军方要求他换机的安排：“我只能听从他们的指挥，一切都是为了安全，我照做就行。”
但特朗普亲口证实此事，也坐实了特朗普本人与白宫此前全程撒谎，即便危险早已解除，他们依旧刻意隐瞒真相。
出于安保需要，事发时临时保密这套调包计划尚且情有可原 —— 不过不少人认为，让随行记者与政府工作人员留在老式空军一号上充当不知情的诱饵，特朗普则搭乘小型军用专机撤离，这种安保手段的尺度已经突破合理边界。而特朗普与白宫的行为远不止为保密而隐瞒，他们甚至全盘否认存在任何安全威胁。
此前有消息曝出，出于安全隐患，特朗普不会乘坐卡塔尔赠送、经过改装的全新总统专机，而是改用老式空军一号出行，白宫与特朗普当即出面否认存在安全风险。
在该消息曝光前，特朗普曾在社交平台声称，7 月 8 日更换专机只是 “怀旧之举”；他还称会先把卡塔尔赠送的新专机提前飞往英国，“让英勇的美军官兵一睹这架崭新总统专机的风采”。
特朗普先搭乘小型军机从土耳其飞往英国，随后换乘卡塔尔新专机返回美国本土。抵达英国后记者追问是否存在安全隐患，他当场矢口否认有任何安全威胁。
记者问：“您是说当时不存在安全隐患吗？” 特朗普答复：“没有，根本没有，怎么可能有？”
记者继续追问是否存在其他问题，他只回复：“没有。” 面对记者持续追问，他始终含糊其辞、回避问题。
撒谎的不只有特朗普本人。
事发当时，白宫通讯主任史蒂文・张发布了一份措辞含糊的声明，力挺卡塔尔赠送的新专机具备完善安保性能。 随后他在社交平台怒斥 MS NOW 一名记者，该记者报道称，美方之所以更换老式专机，是因为担忧卡塔尔新专机的防护能力，无法应对与伊朗急剧升级的冲突。
张称这篇报道完全是 “虚假新闻”，指责这名记者 “完全不懂自己在写什么”。但短短几周后，白宫就宣布要进一步升级卡塔尔新专机的安保配置，特朗普本人也承认，该机正在加装全套最高规格防护设备，这番表态直接推翻了张此前的驳斥。
如今特朗普亲口承认，当初换机的确是因为遭遇袭击威胁。
这份新爆料，也彻底戳穿特朗普从土耳其回国几天后，对伊朗军事实力作出的不实表态。
7 月 13 日，特朗普做客福克斯新闻，宣称伊朗 “整个军事体系已经彻底垮掉”。
他称：“伊朗一无所有，没有海军、没有空军，防空系统也全部失效，全都不复存在。”
但如今真相浮出水面：仅仅五天之前，美方因担忧伊朗有能力在土耳其上空袭击总统专机，迫不得已让特朗普两次换乘飞机避险。
CNN 记者凯文・利普塔克周三援引知情人士消息称，此次威胁指向肩扛式防空导弹，风险明确且具体，美方官员判断，无论新旧两款空军一号，只要搭载特朗普飞行，总统生命都会面临极大危险。
这并非特朗普有关伊朗军力的说法第一次被现实打脸。他一贯宣称伊朗军力早已衰败，但伊朗持续作战、延长冲突。冲突初期，特朗普与国防部长皮特・赫格塞斯还声称美以两国完全掌控伊朗空域，结果不久后就有两架美军战机被击落。
特朗普大量关于伊朗及战局走向的言论均被证实不实，他此前多次保证很快就能达成协议、伊朗会作出重大让步的承诺也全部落空。
这场战争如今局势混乱，在美国国内也极不受欢迎。而本届政府一次次发布虚假说辞，让民众几乎无法相信其关于这场冲突的任何表态。
The Trump White House flat－out lied about his secret plane switch
President Donald Trump late Tuesday confirmed reporting from the Washington Post， CNN and others that hesecretly switched planes in Turkeylast month because of a security threat．
“I guess there was a threat out there，” he told reporters． “I didn’t really ask too much about it．”
The president added of the Secret Service and military telling him to switch planes： “I just have to do what they say． They go for safety， and I have to do what they say．”
But the confirmation makes it clear that both Trump and the White House lied about the situation， even after the immediate danger had passed．
It’s one thing not to disclose the ruse in real time — though many would argue that allowing the reporters and administration staff that remained on Air Force One to effectivelyserve as unwitting decoys， while Trump flew on a smaller military jet， stretches the bounds of what’s acceptable to protect the president． But Trump and the White House went further than just lying to perpetuate a protective ruse． They also denied there was a security threat at all．
They did so when it was first reported that Trump would use his legacy Air Force One — rather than the new， retrofitted one he got as a gift from Qatar — due to security concerns．
Before that story first broke， Trump claimed on social media that he was swapping presidential aircrafts on July 8 “for old time’s sake” and sending the new Qatari－gifted plane meant to be used as Air Force One to the United Kingdom ahead of him “in order to give our Great Military Heroes a chance to appreciate our beautiful new addition to the Air Force Fleet．”
After Trump flew from Turkey to the UK （on what we now know was that third smaller plane） and then re－boarded the new Air Force One for the leg back to the United States， he spoke to reporters and flatly denied a security threat．
“You’re saying there wasn’t a security concern？” a reporter asked．
“No． No． Why would there be？” Trump responded．
Asked if there were “any other issue，” he said： “No．”
When reporters kept asking， he repeatedly deflected．
But it wasn’t just Trump．
White House communications director Steven Cheung issueda somewhat oblique statementat the time defending the security capabilities of the new， Qatari－gifted Air Force One．
But then on social media， he ripped into a reporter from MS NOW who had reported the switch to the legacy plane was due to “concerns” about the new Qatari－gifted plane’s security capability “to safely manage a rapidly escalating conflict with Iran．”
His dismissal of that reporting as “complete fake news” and his statement that the reporter “has no idea what she is talking about” were already undermined by the news a couple weeks later that the White House wasmoving to further secure the new Air Force One． Trump himself confirmed that the plane was being “maxed out．”
And now the president is confirming that he switched planes because of a threat．
The new revelations also sharply undercut what Trump said about Iran’s military capabilities just a few days after returning from Turkey
Appearing on Fox News on July 13， he claimed that Iran’s “entire military is gone．”
“They got nothing，” he added． “They have no Navy． They have no Air Force． It’s all gone． Their anti－aircraft is gone．”
But now we know that， just five days earlier， Trump was forced to switch planes — twice， in fact — because of fears that Iran was capable of striking Air Force One over Turkey．
CNN’s Kevin Liptak reported Wednesday that a person familiar with the matter said the threatinvolved a shoulder－fired missile— a specific enough threat that officials feared Trump’s life would be at enormous risk if he flew on either version of Air Force One．
This isn’t the only time that Trump’s claims about Iran’s capabilities have been undercut by real－world events． He’s routinely cast Tehran as militarily crippled， but it keeps fighting and prolonging the war． And early in the conflict， Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth claimed the United States and Israel had free rein over Iran’s skies —before two US jets were shot down．
Many of the president’s broader claims about Iran and how the war has played outhave also fallen apart． As have his assurances that a deal wasright around the cornerand that Iran had already agreed to key concessions．
The war is a mess — and an unpopular one at that． And the administration keeps giving Americans reason to doubt pretty much everything it says about it．
