When the sands of time from millennium-old Dunhuang greet the millennium-old kiln fires of Jingdezhen, a dialogue of civilizations across time and space quietly begins within the hues of glaze. In the early winter, the Jiangxi Provincial Art Museum was bustling with crowds. The special exhibition, "Echoes of the Silk Road China in Porcelain: Dunhuang in Glazes," jointly hosted by the cultural and tourism departments of Jiangxi and Gansu provinces and the Dunhuang Academy, brought together 151 ceramic works by 89 artists from China and abroad. Promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of China’s fine traditional culture requires collaborative efforts from multiple forces. In the practice of integrating Dunhuang art with ceramic culture, master ceramists have forged the foundation, young creators have infused vitality, and the government has built bridges—together rejuvenating ancient culture with contemporary vitality.
